Kill Your Heart
Based on an incomplete film project, Kill Your Heart was reimagined as a graphic novel. Dialogue from the original screenplay is paired with drawings based on imagery from the unfinished film.
The story examines the creative process of an actor/director/writer named Tyler, played by Reese Alexander. Already a successful talent in his own right, we take a look at a brief period in Tyler's life as he works to complete a new script and deal with the death of his father.
Kill Your Heart is being released non-sequentially in limited edition (50). Each chapbook gives us a glimpse into Tyler’s life. The number of books to be released has yet to be determined, and will be informed by the process of creating them. Once the original run is complete, 15 compendiums will follow, bound sequentially in the order of the original screenplay/script. No release date has been set.
Kill Your Heart dialogue has been typed on a Remington 10. The paper is Arches BFK Rives and St. Armand. Printed on a Vandercook Universal II
